Refund policy

Return Policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after the item was delivered to request a return. 
We have a limited return policy, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase with pictures.  Returns will not be accepted for products that were left outside, damaged due to weather or the transportation of the package. Once the product leaves the warehouse we no longer are responsible for the condition of the product. Returns will be allowed if you received the wrong item then what was purchased or an item was missing.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted or refunded.  Once the return is approved White Oak Ambience will send out a replacement of the same product that was originally ordered; otherwise a refund will be given on the price of the product only.

Authorized returns do not include any reimbursement of shipping and handling charges.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please attach pictures in your email. Also see the return policy.

Damage to your Order

Once your package leaves our warehouse, we are not responsible for it for any reason (this includes, but is not limited to, theft after delivery).  If it is discovered that your package was stolen, we suggest that you file a police report with your local police department.

Also, some products (i.e.; wax) are heat sensitive and may melt slightly during the shipping process, however this will not alter the quality of the product.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Once the product is purchased from the website or in person there it is considered non-returnable.  The exception is if you received the wrong product then what was purchased at checkout.  Unfortunately if you accidentally purchase the wrong item it is considered non-returnable and non-refundable.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Cancellations
We cannot accept cancellations after an order is in paid status. We are also unable to accept requests to add to an order or change an order once placed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

There is a fifteen (15%) restocking fee charged for any order canceled due to lack of payment in full, no fee will be charged if items has not yet been picked or packed. 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Payment

If you attempt to process payment multiple times with an incorrect address or zip code, your payment method may show the charges as pending and hold the money (even though the charges are declined) until the charges fall off. The amount of time this takes can vary from 1 day to 30 days and will depend on your payment method issuer’s discretion. We are not responsible for your repeated attempts to process payment, which may result in a hold on your funds. 

Shipping Times
We strongly advise checking the shipping status of your package daily. We have no control over how long or shipping carriers will take to get your package to you, but due to the nature of the product (ie: wax) being left outside can cause damage to the product which is the not White Oak Ambience or Shipping organization fault.
